Philosophy - 1

A fan shared his good comments.....

Texas Rangers fan dies, fell reaching for ball

Here the fan message....

SET: I think what the boy will have in his mind for the rest of his life is a father that put on a uniform every week to serve his community and provide for his family. A father who loved his mother until he died. A father that spent time with him very often, even his last day and last hour. A great man who like all men had 2 things in common:
There is a time to be born, and a time to die,
Though we don't know the hour, we all can try,
To live our best so that when the time arrives,
Many of the things we did will have touched lives,
Some people have cars well kept in a garage,
Others have cars they maintain but drive many miles,
When people are on the Internet, they are away from the world,
People who fight fires, spend time with their children,
And even in the midst of injury have the presence of mind to say:
Please make sure my son is OK, are people who reach life's pinnacle,
Some people have a father that they only know is out there somewhere!
They spend little or no time with them,
They must be "forced to pay child support!"
When you know someone was spending time voluntarily,
It shows how "twisted" many of our minds can get when they get the criticism!
This guy was a "servant of his community and humanity"
We all have death as a final common denominator, but in any fraction without a zero as the denominator,
The numerator tells the value: and numeric value in my opinion is not based upon how long you live
But on how well you live - quality of days/years not quantity of days/years

As this boy makes it moment by moment, hour by hour,
I grow confident he will be kept by Our,
Father who can do immeasurably more than we can ask,
Is anything too hard for Him? He's up to the task!
